For the section dedicated to photography and documentary research, the Organica Museum presents the multimedia exhibition “Atlante. Video Portraits of Gallura’, featuring interviews conducted by the research collective L’Ambulante, founded by documentary filmmakers Gaetano Crivaro and Margherita Pisano. The works on display form part of ‘Atlas of Innovation: in search of the seeds of change in the Alta Gallura region’, a wide-ranging research project curated by urban planners Lidia Decandia and Leonardo Lutzoni for the University of Sassari, aimed at identifying and documenting the signs of innovation and the transformations taking place across the Gallura region.

In the tranquil heart of the Limbara Park, where millennia-old granite speaks the language of the wind and holm oaks cast their shade, Caterina Lai’s work has found its ideal home. A charismatic figure in the world of artistic ceramics in Sardinia, this artist from Dorgali does not merely shape the material: she listens to its deep pulse, translating the island’s ancient memory into a visual language of the purest simplicity. Hers is a legacy of craftsmanship rooted in an exceptional family tradition — spanning her father Simeone’s great school of ceramics, the brilliant figurative teachings of her uncle Salvatore Fancello, and the geometric precision of her mother Luisa, a master of the art of embroidery.

Press release dated 15 September 2026 On Sunday 20 September at 11.00 am, the Organica Museum of Environmental Art will celebrate the 9th National Day of Small Museums with the opening of two new exhibitions: “Tracce di terra e di…

The artist Coquelicot Mafille will be the focus of the Organica Museum’s new series of events in its contemporary art section, with the solo exhibition *Il tuo sogno nel mio sogno* (*Your Dream in My Dream*), an exhibition project that weaves together textile art, painting and the written word to reflect on the relationship between human beings, nature and living worlds. The exhibition brings together five large textile banners, seven ‘word-paintings’, one painting and a wall installation – works that create an immersive journey in which images, symbols and language become tools for awareness and imagination. Through vibrant colours, human figures, animals, plants and poetic texts, the artist invites the public to rethink their place within ecosystems and the relationships that bind all forms of life.

For its photography section, the Organica Museum presents *Bordi di Mare* (Seaside Edges), a series of minimalist black-and-white images by photographer Donatello Tore, an exhibition dedicated to the issue of coastal development. With a keen observational eye, Tore’s photographic work explores the effects that certain human-induced phenomena have had along the edges of the natural boundary between water and land.
