
A natural space modified by human interference rediscovers harmony with Paola Dessy’s minimalist intervention that recomposes volumes and surfaces using polished metal inserts. Different materials that “give strength to each other”. Senza_Titolo is born from a pile of wood “which is losing its life” but which regenerates itself, welcomed by the impact force of the structure.

Paola D essy – Painter, sculptor, ceramist, critic and teacher of ‘Drawing from life and Engraving’ at the ‘Filippo Figari’ Art Institute in Sassari, Paola Dessy is the daughter of Stanis: as it was impossible for her not to ‘breathe’ art in the family environment, she established herself in the Sardinian art scene at a very young age, starting in the 1950s. She graduated from the Art Institute, having Figari and Tavolara as her teachers, in addition to her father. Initially, she devoted herself to graphics and ceramics, experimenting with various materials and techniques that she put together with courage and perspicacity. His first production of ceramics dates back to 1953, while in 1957 he participated in the National Exhibition of Contemporary Italian Engraving, held in Venice, presenting graphics and paintings.
