DESCRIPTION:For its photography section\, the Organica Museum presents*Bordi di Mare* (Seaside Edges)\, a series of minimalist black-and-white images by photographer Donatello Tore\, an exhibition dedicated to the issue of coastal development. With a keen observational eye\, Tore’s photographic work explores the effects that certain human-induced phenomena have had along the edges of the natural boundary between water and land. \nFurther details can be found on the exhibition page: \nDonatello Tore\, Bordi di Mare

SUMMARY:Exhibition: Coquelicot Mafille\, Your Dream in My Dream
DESCRIPTION:The artist Coquelicot Mafille will be the focus of the Organica Museum’s new series of events in its contemporary art section\, with the solo exhibition Il tuo sogno nel mio sogno (Your Dream in My Dream)\, an exhibition project that intertwines textile art\, painting and the written word to reflect on the relationship between human beings\, nature and living worlds. The exhibition brings together five large textile banners\, seven ‘word-paintings’\,one painting and a wall installation – works that create an immersive journey in which images\, symbols and language become tools for awareness and imagination. Through vibrant colors\, human figures\, animals\, plants and poetic texts\, the artist invites the public to rethink their place within ecosystems and the relationships that bind all forms of life. \nFurther details on the exhibition page: \nCoquelicot Mafille\, Il tuo sogno nel mio sogno (Your Dream in My Dream)

SUMMARY:Exhibition: Caterina Lai\, Traces of Earth and Wind
DESCRIPTION:In the tranquil heart of Limbara Park\, where the ancient granite speaks the language of the wind and the holm oaks cast their shade\, Caterina Lai’s work has found its ideal home. A charismatic figure in the world of artistic ceramics in Sardinia\, this artist from Dorgali does not merely shape the material: she listens to its deep pulse\, translating the island’s ancient memory into a visual language of the purest simplicity. Hers is a legacy of craftsmanship rooted in an exceptional family tradition — spanning her father Simeone’s renowned ceramics school\, the brilliant figurative teachings of her uncle Salvatore Fancello\, and the geometric precision of her mother Luisa\, a master of the art of embroidery. \nFurther details on the exhibition page: \nCaterina Lai – Traces of Earth and Wind

SUMMARY:Exhibition: Cristina Meloni\, Soglie (Thresholds)
DESCRIPTION:In the exhibition galleries of the Organica Museum\, as part of the contemporary art section\, ‘Soglie’ (Thresholds) – the new solo exhibition by the artist Cristina Meloni\, curated by Elena Calaresu – will be presented. \nIn *Soglie* (Thresholds)\, Cristina Meloni explores the boundary not as a clear dividing line\, but as an unstable space in which the usual coordinates of perception are subverted\, calling into question the observer’s position. This body of work originated within the framework of PAS – Progetto Atelier Sardegna (2014–2015)\, arising from the artist’s observation of gates and boundary walls encountered whilst travelling throughout the region. These are elements that make a boundary visible\, without their meaning being limited to their material substance: a threshold can be physically marked out\, but it can also be suggested\, perceived and internalised.
